Daniel Albert Halldorson
Manitoba’s Dan Halldorson has been one of Canada’s most consistent figures in professional golf since the 1970s. Most notably Canada’s only team member with two World Cup victories, the 1980 title with Jim Nelford and the 1985 title with Dave Barr, Dan also won two PGA Tour events, seven Canadian Tour events and isn’t finished racking up the titles yet. Earning a total of more than $1 million on the PGA Tour, he was also been named Canada’s professional golfer of the year in 1981 and 1983.
